Deleting your BeyondWalls account will permanently remove all your data and cannot be undone. Please ensure you have exported any information you wish to keep before proceeding.
What Data Will Be Deleted?
When you delete your BeyondWalls account, the following data will be permanently removed from our systems:
- Your account information: Email address, password, and profile details
- All child profiles: Names, educational stages, and profile photos
- Learning activities and logs: All activity descriptions, NESA outcome tracking, and progress reports
- Scheduled activities: All calendar events and planned learning activities
- Goals and rewards: All goals, tasks, chores, stars, and achievements
- Photos and evidence: All uploaded images and educational documentation
- Reading logs: All reading records and literacy progress tracking
- Device sessions: Location data, device tokens, and session information
- AI-generated content: All personalised educational suggestions and reports
Data Retention Period
Once your account is deleted:
- Immediate deletion: Your data is removed from active systems immediately when using the in-app deletion feature
- Backup purging: Data is permanently purged from backup systems within 90 days
- No recovery: After deletion, your data cannot be recovered or restored
How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)
- Open the BeyondWalls mobile app or web application
- Log in to your parent account
- Navigate to Settings or Account
- Select "Delete Account"
- Complete biometric authentication (Face ID/Touch ID) if available
- Review the deletion warning and confirm
- Type your email address to verify deletion
- Tap "Delete Forever" to complete the process
✓ Immediate deletion - your data is removed instantly
Option 2: Email Request
If you cannot access your account or prefer to request deletion via email:
- Send an email to: privacy@beyondwalls.app
- Include your registered email address
- Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- We will verify your identity and process your request
- You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete
